How Observant Are You? Would You Notice?

I laughed and laughed when my son ,who is a construction superintendent, told me a story recently. He and his wife Kelly want to make a patio on the back of their home. One thing they wanted to do before they started the project was to get seamless gutters on the back of the house around where the patio will be. Matt asked a contractor for a quote and they agreed on a price. A few weeks later Matt became irritated that the job had not been completed and he called the contractor to tell him if he did not have the gutters in by the end of the week that he would get someone else to do it. The contractor assured Matt that that the gutters had been installed and he should go outside and look. Matt told him that he went outside every night and every morning with Gracie his dog and there were no gutters. The contractor said, " just go out there right now and look.... I know they are there." So Matt went out back and looked again just to make him happy. Of course, as Matt knew, there were no gutters to be found. The puzzled contractor then asked Matt what was his address......and yes, you have now probably guessed that somewhere else in Winterville, NC an unexpecting homeowner has some new free seamless gutters. To add to the comedy of errors....the gutters were put on the front of the other house not the back. Also the crowning highlight is that the owner of the house with the free gutters in front has no clue that he has new gutters......I'm not going to tell....It will be our secret!
